A new type of corrosion-resistant oil pipeline extends service life in a variety of exposed environments. This product is prepared by electrodepositing an atomically bonded, corrosion-resistant, low-friction-resistance wear-resistant layer onto the surface of conventional pipelines used in the oil and gas industry for transporting hydrocarbons or other fluids and gases. This electrodeposition technology can now also be used for pipelines and fittings in the oil and gas industry. The electrodeposited layer is free of pores and gaps, exhibits high bonding strength, and provides excellent corrosion resistance. The extended lifespan of pipeline infrastructure will benefit both production and downstream sectors.
Use
It can be used in most transportation pipelines in the oil and gas industry.
Features and advantages
1. Pipes for long-term use in corrosive environments.
2. The electroplated coating has a lower coefficient of friction and increased lubricity.
3. Increased wear resistance reduces corrosion to the pipe wall.
4. Both the inner and outer surfaces can be electroplated.
5. Suitable for various H2S, CO2 and other corrosive environments.
6. Significantly improves the service life of standard pipelines.
